Christian Carnival CCXX

This week's Christian Carnival is at Imago Dei.  Everyday Liturgy's contribution this week was Finally, Prayer Beads!Highlights this week are:

Bounded Irrationality asks the question Does the Church have a role in our confession of sins?  The middle way that is suggested, of having five minutes for corporate repentence before communion, is a good baby step for Protestants weary of "confession."

Parableman discusses Open Theism and the Hardening of Pharoah's Heart, taking a story often used by open theist's to promote their view of divine foreknowledge and turns it back on its head.

The Participatory Study Blog "weighs" the definition of hypothesis as it concerns the reliability of the New Testament as an original text and suggests that weight of the documents integrity not be an all or nothing prospect---there is a median point between unreliable and completely reliable, which begs a new question (and post): what is that magical inbetween state?

Next week's Christian Carnival will be hosted here at Everyday Liturgy.
