The August 2008 issue of The Everyday Journal will feature articles, essays, and creative writing submissions focused on Wendell Berry's philosophy and ideas found in his fiction, poetry and non-fiction.
The Everyday Journal welcomes submissions and is issuing a call for papers on, but not limited to, the following topics:

• Agrarianism
  Creation Care
  Farming
  Christian Ethics
  Local Economies
  Humanity and the Earth
  Morality
  Vocation

All submissions should either engage Wendell Berry's works or be a continuance of his work. Creative writing submissions should be focused on the themes and metaphors of Berry's poetic voice.

All submissions should be received by August 1st, 2008.
